Caged By Poverty... Knowledge came through the lips of a man who’s soul sang. Covered by the waste of man, it clung to his skin. He grabbed her arm and told her what was to come; she could not see his soiled and stained pants. All she heard was the sound of knowing, and with her soul she listened for she heard truth. Through the white garb that had been blackened with time; a light shined through him. Mesmerized, she walked away without questioning a word. But from that man; that was all she heard. S.S.Snapp ~ 10-14-00 ~ Authors Note: A homeless man at the edge of an alley grabbed my sisters arm & read her cards... he told her things that were happening to her & what was to come for her. Since then it came true. He asked for nothing in return...I hope you enjoyed the ramblings from my mind... Written October 14th, 2000 © on Nov 27 2001 04:48 AM PST   0 • 13
