I Loved You Once

By QuietRose

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I Loved You Once I hate you for the enduring pain like the dreariness of a never-ending rain I hate you for the darkness like the thunderstorms that never rest I hate you for the sorrow inside like the blue moon that tends to hide I hate you for the constant ache like the hurricane that will never break I hate you for tearing my world apart like the avalanche that will never part I hate you for the shattered dream like the wind with its piercing scream I hate you for the constant anger like the lightening bolts with all its danger I hate you for my unhappiness today But I loved you once on a sunny day Written December 1st, 2000 © on Oct 13 2001 12:10 AM PST, Peggy Naugle   18 • 0 • 1
