Misery-A poem about war
By radha
Whatever happened to your limbs? Your limbs of lust Did you lose them in the street? Or in the pub? Did you lose them to a madman A cruel executioner of deceit? Or did you lose them in the fields While tending to your sheep? I saw him spin a web A web of limbs and suffering Where screams and terror fill the night And the ground opens up to a new world Take my hand my love And I shall set you free Don't be frightened For you are misery.
