Johnny's Suicide
By RaInAnGeL
He had the soul of an eagle, Flying away from all of us. He was different and lonely, But somewhat the same, Wishing to be loved. On a rainy eve in October, He stepped into the night, With his revolver and his smile, He never saw the morning light. Johnny bled all over the floor, Screaming curses to the moon. Pleading for that time back, His life once again, For it'd all be over soon. When the sun arose at dawn, His mommy went to wake him. First she saw the gun, And then saw his sin. Every day she cries now, Wanting God to bring Johnny home. She lies in bed and weeps, Her hot tears rolling, But it's inevitable Johnny is gone. Now his soul is free, To soar about the sky. He's the loudest eagle that you hear, That sings to you and I. Written April 3rd, 2002 © on Apr 03 2002 04:13 AM PST 0 • 1
