Time Passes along Bringing and taking When they belong And leaving things behind Such as accidents and discovery And always The misery Of the past to be Experienced by the people Who don't Deserve it at all When it leaves It leaves its trace The trace of destruction Leaving no happiness or grace It leaves behind So much despair To the ones who had hope And the ones who cared But it didn't even glance at them Leaving them lost With a different world for them And as the days Come and go It brings and takes Leaving people alone Written December 31st, 2001 © on Dec 30 2001 09:03 PM PST   0 • 10
