Jason
By RavenCross
No one ever told Jason maybe they loved him. No one ever gave Jason a helping hand. No one wanted a punk rock boy in a spice girls world. No one wanted to be seen around this guns n' roses boy. Any words shared with Jason expected something in return. Jason never knew there where people like him out in the world. Jason never knew he wasn't the only good person around. See, Jason never left his little shithole town. The place he'd always known, where there were preps and there was him. Never did Jason know a place where things were differnt. Jason never saw the place where a cheerleader could love him and he could laugh with the jocks. Jason have only one person you'd call a friend. That is, if friends are supposed to backstab you. Jason was alone in everything he did and he was alone in the end. Even Jason's family couldn't relate when he blasted The Clash. Kind words were something Jason only overheard. Jason just stopped trying when he found his name on a bathroom wall. Marked with hate, written in division. Just becuase he wore red plaid and spiked his hair with glue. Some years later, Jason put a gun to his mouth. Jason honestly believed ths world was better off without him See, Jason was just so easy to love. The thing that was hard was saying "Hello."This is a re-write becuase the site ate the original... which sucks, since I liked this poem. I didn't have other copies... So this one's different and yet... the same. ^.^ Written November 19th, 2001 © on Nov 20 2001 07:26 AM PST 10 • 0 • 1
