Modern Day Carousel
By RavenCross
Twisting, Turning, Breaking Down. Circular motion in every direction. Pull me down from underneth, Paw at my insides, leave nothing for the vultures. This is our modern day carousel, That we built from the ground up. Our bloody hands, bruised and disfigured, I'm so numb that all the pain is gone. Feeling alone even though you're next to me. All your primal tenacious ways, Wanna take a ride on the carousel of death? I'm crying out and holding in, Everyone has a weapon everyone is bleeding, We built our modern day carousel with our own hands. The world around you is spinning, Making you sick as you try to think straight. All you remember is all the ache you felt, The future can only be darker than today. It's your brain that is starting to feel damaged, It's you that's eventuality feeling dizzy. We built our modern day carousel ourselves.
