Pale Fragility

By razorlicious

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

crystallized icy roads, car windows fogged shimmer of frosted green powdered trees no longer    sing peacefully a soft cloak– mother of pearl leafless, wind-tattered    they stand crevices packed with white the air that nips    flushed cheeks frozen tips of flesh nature is pale    fragile breath dressed in smoke against the faded sunlight the world looks    blurred naked simple.
