Here Without You

I don't know how much longer I can hold on, feelings fade when you are gone.  I don't pretend to care because I really do.  It's just so hard being here without you.  Tell my hands not to miss your touch, tell me how to hold on and not hurt so much.  Tell my eyes not to wash away the memories with sweet, salty tears.  Tell me how to breathe before I drown in my own fears.  I don't know how much longer I can hold on, feelings fade when you are gone.
