I had None

You waited all day For words that lay And creep And stall Yet live I waited all night For the heart light I saw a cat crawl I saw a dream end I saw, I saw, I saw So many things We’ve traveled far along Had many passengers With smiles and songs And many ideas of love I saw tomorrow fly I saw dreams die I saw, you saw Oh so many things I saw the hollow sky I saw men lie I felt a warm hand Grab my arm Calling me to creep And to stall And all the passengers wait For the ride, the ride, the ride To end, stall, live I sang you a song You sang along We traveled far Into the dark, dark, dark We sat awake waiting for the lark We had seas to cross And lives to part But we stalled I lied, you cried We were just too afraid All that in just one day Written November 15th, 2001 © on Nov 15 2001 08:00 AM PST   0 • 10
