Sheep

By Renokhan

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

So happy being sheep are sheep Told when to eat When to sleep Told to find a mate to keep A shepherd's there to light the way Keep the sheep from going astray Shown which path is good And which path is bad Respect thy mother Love thy dad To be a sheep is a happy life To be unaware of life's ugly strife To stand in lines without know why To waste a life waiting to die Are we sheep today? To act like sheep in every way I rebel with all I am and nothing less Which makes me a black sheep I guess Written October 4th, 2001 © on Oct 04 2001 03:48 AM PST   0 • 9
