Highway Dreams

By rheadaria

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Late at night I hear the highway callingIt goes on forever--pavement and linesWhen human life dead endsThe highway branches a new avenue. And dreamers like me imagine the travelersWishing we could somehow trade placesTo escape with our love of wander lustInstead of sitting on the dead end street.
