Why are we so different?

By Riceman

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

You breathe, I breathe. You smell, I smell. You touch, I touch. Why are we so different? You say that your too good for me, You say a lot of things. I respond by being nice to you, And you still treat me different. Why can't we just get along, Why can't we just love? Do we really have to be bad, To show that we are tough? Your black, I'm white, he is yellow, she is red, If only you could understand with your big thick head. We are all humans we need no discrimination, Why are we so different?
