I came to you in a time that I had a need a need to be held by you, welcomed into your arms a need to be touched by you deeply soul to soul I held out my heart to you, but you would not take a hold and it dropped to the floor, battered and bruised I picked it up and held it to my chest and cradled it in my arms and washed it in my tears I hung my head in sorrow, and turned and walked away and I can only wonder why in me you could not see your needs become fulfill but your world, it spun too fast and I was only a blur to you that you could not even see and though I was there for a time and I was real, I am now gone and when you wonder where and when you wonder why do not feel alone for you'll know, where ever I am, I'll be doing the same Written September 1st, 2001 © on Oct 01 2001 06:52 AM PST   0 • 8
