Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Seems when we last met You were with him Now it seems he's left And I wonder how you've, been Have you moved so fast? Are you still alone? Do I have a chance? Do you have a phone? Chorus: Cause I just want to talk to you Tell me is it worth my time? Tell me what you've been up to I won't cross that line Unless you want me to Yes I see that smile Am I getting through? And I like your style Hope you like mine too Let's go for a walk We've got all night I just want to talk Hold your hand tight Chorus Bridge: Sweet and innocent I look at you And you look at me too 2nd Bridge: With my arms around you I can't see Nothing seems to matter to me And even if you walk away I'm still thankful for what we had today Chorus: Cause I just wanted to talk to you And I think it was worth my time Cause now I know what we've been up to I think we crossed that line Cause we wanted too Sweet and Innocent I looked at you And you looked at me too Written July 5th, 2000 © on Apr 11 2002 08:37 AM PST   20 • 0 • 12
