Warning Signs
By RockyDean
There was a warning from the very first when I inhaled my first cigarette, I felt the fire going down my throat and deep within my chest. I gagged choked then I spit its right then I should have quit, but like so many of us who failed to ignore those warning signs back then. I never thought leaf wrapped in paper could result in such awfull effects, by lighting a match then inhale the smoke a breath you never get back. The stains upon the fingers can't compare to those within the lungs, these combinations of pure disaster of damage that can't be undone. I'm not trying to tell anyone how to live their life I would be a fine one to say, for I ignored all those signs and now I have to pay. Written December 5th, 2001 © on Dec 04 2001 04:28 PM PST 0 • 10
