Goodbye

When I was born, You were there. Now it’s time to mourn, About someone for whom I care. I didn’t have a chance, To say my goodbye. In the back I stood in a stance, And slowly began to cry. The tears soon flooded my eyes, And I quickly wiped them away. I know sooner or later everyone dies, But too soon came that day. In the end you were really weak, And you felt the pain so badly. I wish that today with you I could speak, But you’re gone now, sadly. You are now in a better place, No more pain can you feel. But with me you left a trace, Of a part of you in your will. I will see you again one day, Till then you’ll watch over me. There’s one more thing I have to say, In my heart you’ll always be. Written March 31st, 2002 © on Apr 20 2002 03:36 AM PST   0 • 1
