Dare to Care

By sandy

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

Reason is it's meant to be           Can't change the course; it's history           Oh darkened sky, frightened air           Man pays his dues for lack of care.           A stranger sits at heavens' door           Steeped in pain down to the core.           Look back around, see endless scenes           Lack of heed to others' needs.           Remorse is felt, first time for he           The strength is such.. his pain is free.           Gentle hands, bright golden glow           Reach out to heal a troubled soul.           Heed well man, grasp this source           Save thyself a frightful course.           Show yourself, your joyful heart           Not after death.. no, from the start.
