Winter Nights

The face of the moon shines silently upon the barren earth. Dark Shadows hide secrets. The wind whispers rumors of things yet to come. through skeletal branches, which not long ago were resplendent with brilliant hues of scarlet, emerald, and gold. Amber eyes peer through the darkness, intent and patient. A raven cries overhead, the promise of blood already made. Written November 4th, 2001 © on Nov 03 2001 09:10 PM PST   0 • 10
