What Hides Behind A Smile
Many things hide in my eyes, Reflecting brightly what I feel, Showing emotion in greater size, Love, hate, when I want a meal. My eyes express many things, They burn with much emotion, And whether or not my heart sings, Or if I'm delighted by a pun. Somehow things hide inside, Even through traitor eyes, Now it's if I've died, No one notices, not even guys. Even though I laugh and play, It's as if inside's down a dial, My depression's here to stay, Isn't it amazing, what hides behind a smile?...
