Human race

Can a person be a color, or a race Only if we need to differentiate When we look at the glory of open fields Do we ask or take notice of what it produces or yields Or just marvel at the beauty of it all watching it's changes summer through fall Black is a color that White has none Brown is a hue like Yellow is one Red is warm and radiant too All just colors blended under skies of blue You don't look like me, nor do I look like you Our differences is what makes us striking to view Why can't you accept my individuality as I respect you? Can a color be a person, or a race have a face Is our difference our Glory or a reason to hate? Written December 12th, 2001 © on Dec 12 2001 02:39 PM PST 0 • 12
