Time
By Seipher
Man, life is movin' fast. No longer a mosey, or even a fast walk, No, it's a full out run. One minute my biggest worry, is that of diner and homework. Now I think of college and a family of my own. What ever did happen? Happen to those days, carefree ones in third grade? What's goin' on? Then we wanted the year to end. Now we wish it longer. We thought girls had "cooties", Now we seek a companion for life. We thought we had too much, of that time we get. We wanted to get rid of some. If only it were the same. What's going on? Life is too fast. Can't we find the clock of time, and turn those hands back? But "No!" we can't. We're in a dead sprint, and we can't slow down. Don't have time. Nobody seems to have a carefree minute. A chance to smell the roses. It's all rush rush. We've wasted it all. All the time's gone. We've used it up, and can get no more.
