looking from the fractured icon faces fractured in the cracks     some all important telephone calls     steaming tyres     snails some places     in which a hostess     gets caught up     in the whirl of the crevice     with a cake in her hands     before the children see confessing to the left: I had dreams weird running away from the fellow men eating from the generous palm of the dead lying to the right: I was forfeited the right to run through the woods naked bathe in the dews but right in the middle in that raging waterfall in those veins of a just born child in the layer of bats’ wings their screams how can I judge reject reprimand plead for justice curse the ashes of the trees   * Written January 13th, 2002 © on Jan 12 2002 09:21 PM PST   18 • 0 • 12
