everybody went away nobody stayed to kiss the hand thrust in a  handful of Earth into the eyes was left under the sky which wasn’t left so much anymore crossed my hands ran out     a cat was     eating up a dove     staring     eyes full of love     in the deep sack of     the fur     at a spider     stumbling drunkenly     over the dew so little was left   came all at once lime on the faces boiling wine in the cups     removed the furniture     bathed the baby     put it quiet     smelling of crushed poppy     onto the mother’s bosom     which there was     as much as the sea     the congealing ocean blood * Written January 7th, 2002 © on Jan 07 2002 09:20 AM PST   18 • 0 • 12
