Were All Equal
By SethB1983
You walk by, with your head high, you nose tilted, with pulled back hair a grim look on your face thinking so highly of yourself, "No one can compare" I beg to differ, you walk stiffer, with the coldness of the air hitting your old skin, I see your face wrinkled your body weak, how will you fare? My young body with slim frame, build-skinny yet sane, and where, are you-amongst the gray the weak and the lame, barely moving, but getting there Let me ask you what is it about you that makes you supreme what gives way for you to believe, to conceive, that you are a higher being One of powers that I'll never reach above me in all ways, for all my days, from looks to speach? Can you answer? Can you tell me what rights you can claim what rights I don't what is so special, besides the rest of you, and all the plain Tell me were not equal in today's world, explain to me what makes difference if were man or little girl When you have the answer to my question, maybe in this poem's sequel please let me know until then though, I'll continue to go, as if were all equaltry to tell me otherwise...
