My mind is dull My body numb And something wicked this way comes My eyes are heavy and downcast I hold no hope for you Only memories of another man’s violations So you’ve forced your heart away Through the crowd we watch each other with pain Remembering a dreamed kiss My lips tingle through the poison Then the sensation fades with the memories And my mind Darkness; The ground races up to lovingly embrace me Instead she breaks me Written January 14th, 2002 © on Jan 14 2002 08:16 AM PST   10 • 0
