Under this rooftop we gather once more Just as we did when were small Here we are back at the table again Wanting to know where each has been And telling our stories of long ago. The year has turned its circle once more And we are gathering here at this same door Year after year we greet each other here Where warmth and grace is nothing to compare Mother and Father, Brother and Sister, Taking this time to be together. Nice things to say New things to remember We’ll be back again in December. One last thing I’d like to say To all of my family on this special day…. By the grace of God May you all be blessed May you all only know happiness. I wish you love I wish you peace I wish you all that happiness brings. And as we part And go on our way, Don’t forget to come home Next Thanksgiving Day….
