The Same Seen Different

By SilencedSoul

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I hate the way they look at me, I hate the stares I get. I'm not a freak, I wish they'd see there's more to me I bet. I hate the tears I cry each day, I hate the names they call. They feed on me like I'm their prey, to them I am nothing at all. So what if I don't look the same, or speak the tongue they do. If you call me I'll come to name, if you hurt me I'll cry too.
