Rage

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

I'm feeling so much rage, I won't give in to it. I'm feeling so much hate, I won't give in to it. I'm feeling so much fear, I won't give in to it. I'm feeling so much doubt, I won't give in to it. You've told so many lies, That you believe in them. Look at the heart you broke, You didn't care about him. This is all about you, Now you're shifting the blame. How do you sleep at night, Why do you play this game? Father time will be cruel, As your friends slip away. You will sit all alone, And your soul will decay. Maybe you'll grow a heart, Or even a conscience. Nothing that you have done, Could possibly make sense. I'm still fighting the rage, With each word that I write. The things that you have done, Stray so far from the light. But God will pass judgement, Wish I could hear you yell. As the flames engulf you, In the fires of Hell.
