Hide Me, Help You
By sivyoci
Hide me from my fears and sorrow, let me close my eyes. When open can I help you see the good, I promise as your friend, I will always try. You and I have long since been best at listening with honesty and care. Now that we both struggle, do we have enough in ourselves, to light life's gracious dare. My heart, your spirit...have grown, lived and lost... To give up, please wake up and live, for life is a wonderful cost. The distance between us, tests the strength of God's bridge of stone and wire. The patience, heart and friendship I offer you, from here will never expire. I send my plea that you will live...with a tear covered with all I can hope and pray. And return to you distant thank you's, for friendship will full-circle our journey in the future beginning today. Written September 26th, 2001 © on Sep 26 2001 01:45 AM PST 18 • 0 • 1
