Insecurity
By Skittl1603
I hide my true self behind a mask, A mask that hides my flaws. Too self rightous to say it loud, that I'm quite insecure. I hide behind my purple hair, and my purse of pins. I hide behind my loud voice, my soul is hid within. You may call me names, and I'll brush it off, like it doesn't hurt. But you'll regret those words someday, for when you come to school you'll find out that I hung myself because I felt so uncool. But as for now, my self worth is holding on to just that very last strand. I'll keep going now, just day by day. Hoping to become secure. Written March 9th, 2002 © on Mar 08 2002 04:36 PM PST 0 • 1
