*A Snowy Eve in the Woods*
By SlimShdy32
On a cold and blustery evening in February The wind whistles as if a train were nearby The snow has fallen and covered the trees Peace is begotten by this no less than stellar scene A snow owl cries aloud, a fox scampers through the woods I take a short walk through these woods, a bit chilly and dark Yet I am alone and at peace The winter eve hath liberated me of my fears My sorrows are forgotten A new life comes about me I hear the sound of crunching My boots trudge through the thick snow I continue my walk and reminisce of winters past Since mother nature was calm this year Yet she managed to unleash her exquisite fury if not more than once Ah yes I love the summer Yet for one day Mother Nature invites me into her other side Winter is the season now, though spring not far off I enjoy this one day in all of its essence For it I am thankfulwe have had a lot of snow fall in the past two days and the sight is just incredible...
