[Rigid and cold I stand alone]
Rigid and cold I stand alone Broken and barren I shuffle through the snow Crawling on my knees toward the faraway light Leaves circle with the wind around my every limb Frustrated and tired I know I must stay awake Scared and a bit insane I try to find my way Standing now I try to run toward the sky The wind such a memory passing me by Thinking and crying confuse my journey Shouting no longer yelling I deafen my ears Trudging in to the day The purity of light no longer gaurenteed Smiling in spite I look on Wincing in pain I know the mountain I must climb Back to my knees, in the wind I found so dear Gladly seeking my new life journey Written December 11th, 2001 © on Dec 11 2001 02:27 PM PST, Kelli Miller 0 • 1
