Calamity Unforseen (Sept. 11, 2001)
By Sonshyne
As I sat here with the wind blowing against my face, Thinking about the adversity among some of the human races. We lost many of our comrades in the attact on that day. It happened in a disgraceful, unfortunate cowardly way. We mourn and we weep for those we lost. Yes our fellow Americans paid a priceless cost. Let us not weep as people without hope. Our hearts are heavy, but this is not the end of the rope. We are our brothers keepers, responsible for our fellow man. It's our duty to get thru this, and do all we can. Now is the time to unify, to become a strong tower, To demonstrate love, this is the day, this is the hour. Children will read about this for generations to come, In anstonishment, we wonder, Where such gruesome actions could come from. This was the worst terriost attack in the history of mankind. Let us maintain our love, as the words, In God We Trust, never leaves our minds. Written February 19th, 2002 © on Feb 19 2002 02:27 AM PST 0 • 12
