She sat quietly cowering against The harsh words an angry voice. the screaming rang in her ears. No other sound could penetrate The horrific mas of shouts. The tears finally came staining Her face,soaking her hair,her clothes. She wanted to help but herself But could not And with each blow she lost Part of the innocence Of her womanhood.
