Days Passing By
Days Passing By:As the days pass by, and strife hardens. Our minds weep back to yesterday. We try to capture every waking moment, but they always seem to float away.It seems as though the days are shorter, while the nights are getting longer.Once, what we called our childhood dreams, are only rememberance of our childhood hunger. The guilt in our stomach, of what we did the day before. We can't seem to shake off the pain. The more and more days passed by,the less and less stories told and gained.Since we can't stop the days from passing onWe have to make it, last like a weekend in July.Even when we can't seem to go any further, look beyond the fields and dance into the sky.by: Sara Elizabeth Santosshould a poem be easy to understand or should it have hidden messages to uplift the engaging actions of feeling being submitted into ones mind?or is is the length of this poem to short to understand the feelings' Written August 23rd, 2001 © on Aug 23 2001 04:11 PM PST 0 • 12
