Spiraling Down
By Sprite
***** Rocking, I am only a shadow on a ledge, questioning fate, and wondering if there is one for me or is it all decided on some whim of our history inside the mist of obscurity the passageways are steep, but as I groped around each corner, up the trails that lead to other paths, I was assured that I thought I knew where it was that I intended to go. So I continued to climb as fast as I could to find it, my magic place of peaceful star studded * * *Happiness * * * * But the climbing left me here uncertain, darkness in descent before I was aware, and now I find myself, I do not even know where. The landscape is unfamiliar, the rocky walls lean in on me, and all I can tell is that light is spiraling down into a pin, below. I ask that Godly spirits fly into the lavender pall, to find me if they will, and decide if I should or shouldn't continue up this craggy wall. I am a witness to my own disappointing journey, and tenuously disturbed by my travail, my difficulty is that, I wish to get away from here. Please hurry to my precarious perch and tell me now...Should I continue to trudge up this hill or give myself up to the ever present will imposed on me to stay unexposed and safe inside the womb of this sky, frightened to move on and climb, sitting as a shadow of my dreams spinning in a cricket's eye.
