Mom

You came into my life as my guardian.  You were so great to me when things weren’t good and when I was scared.  You have given me great advice, and great praise.  You have been a reliable friend and comforter when I have had problems.  You have supported me in things that mattered to me, and stuck up for me when things were against me.  You have always been a shoulder to cry on.  You have been an inspiration to me in my life.  You have helped me to become a well-rounded person.  You have shared with me the love of music.  You have celebrated with me in my joys and successes.  You have aided me in gaining skills to get ahead.  You have taught me to feel good about myself.  You have shown me how to be a strong woman and a smart student.  You reminded me how to learn from mistakes and capitalize on small setbacks.  You have encouraged and mentored me in all my ambitions and goals. You have been my best friend, and my most faithful companion.  You helped me to develop an appreciation for art, culture, and literature.  You have opened my eyes to the world.  You started as my guardian, have since been my guide, and forever will be my greatest friend.  Mom, thank you, and I love you.
