I could not get to sleep last nightAt the thought of war I shed a tearI tried to close my eyesBut only shook with fear.War would mean more deathsThat is not what we need to seeThe people have suffered quite enoughI am sure you all agree.But I realize with certaintyAmerica must fight backBut it is terrifying to imagineThe whole world under attack.Again I try to close my eyesI say a silent prayerFor all the intense sorrowThat we all now share.
