Shards of Glass
By Stereotype
Shards of glass lay all around, her heavy breathing the only sound. Pain.Pain is all she can think, with each breath she feels her heart sink. The jolting pain of the sharp edge through her skin she covers her mouth to hush the din, no energy left to put up a fite her face drained of colour turning slowly white. Sad moonbeams in her innocent eyes but no one hears her innocent cries she did what she thought she had to do no way back now and nobody knew what she had been thinking, what had entered her mind she knew no one should have thoughts of this kind. and now all that remains are shards of glass no one knows as the hours pass but she is happier where she lies alone silent and lonely, completely unknown The way she felt all her life.
