//Taking the Train\\
By supermutt
Catching the train And collapsing in the seat How could I imagine Such a wonderful person I'd meet? Six hours we spent Chasing conversation down the track But not a word since And now there's no looking back ((I guess that's why I've never seen A window in back of a train To make it that much easier To forget about the pain)) So many words have come and gone I saw you just the other day But then I saw another's name Upon your lips begin to play I bit my tongue, grit my teeth, And forced a smiled at you Then my courage welled up inside And independence made a debut ((I guess that's why I've never seen A window in back of a train To make it that much easier To forget about the pain)) So play the part of the pander That you've come to play so well And I'll play my part of the apathetic, aesthetic, Silent little belle I'll never be your belleA rough draft, more or less... I'll change it when the mood strikes me... I was just writing my memories of an experience the other night. Constructive criticism welcomed.
