It seems unfair that so much talent is spent on the restless and young I sigh, then relax, and enjoy the spectacle of watching her dance all over a page She is in love, it seems and in her supple grace her motions paint a vibrant portrait of the one who inspires her I watch, from a seat high above her stage bewildered by her pulsating colors a skirt of gold and green and cream floats softly above her bare feet her head is thrown back, her eyes closed her face is a mask of joy I look on, longing to catch her emotion for a moment It seems unfair that I can only watch the lovely tempest of her dance from a distance Written February 1st, 2002 © on Feb 01 2002 10:52 AM PST   10 • 0
