Las Vegas, Scotland, and Places In Between

As I hiked a wandering paththrough the forest I've lately been exploringI heard a chorus of whispers and shoutscoming from a nearby clearing.I shyly stepped into a spotaround your illuminating fireand added my soft voiceto your endless conversation.Freely, you shared with melove and wisdom, reality and dreamsand all your passions;you sharedhurts that make you bleed insideand moments that make you cry with pleasureand my small voice was welcomedas if I'd belonged with you for years. You spoke to me from Las Vegas, Scotlandand many places in betweenyet it seems we sat, not in distant rooms, but around the same warming fire.An overflowing cup of nectarwas passed aroundI drank, till sated,so full of sweetnessI could barely move. That first night I spent with youI did not sleep, but only dreamedof Las Vegas, Scotland, and many places in between.
