They called her               greeneyed redheaded freak                     sent her running home from school                                                 spilling tears Hm, that was many long distant years ago She is on my screen at this moment             emerald eyes drawing my own eyes into                                       steamy embrace her rolling curves           leer & tease                       packed tightly in teal leather Her crimson lips               (curled into a perfect bow)                                     pout at me, playfully                                   daring me to drown in them This is       the greeneyed redheaded freak                         of rainy gray Edinburgh                                   in 1983                         tormented by fresh-faced blond girls                               she sings to me                               as I gaze at her pale beauty                             her voice is moist & heavy                             an invitation to the lonely                           I crawl through her swampland                           seeking to feed on her luscious fruit > This is       the gangly girl                   who'd sit home crying                           during school dances                       in rainy gray Edinburgh                                   in 1983                       a brazen flower had yet to bloom                           today I sit here dumbstuck                     drunk on                         her heady fragrance.
