When I Was Little

By taracer 1986

Topics: Poetry Source: AllPoetry Original source

When you're a little girl       you have millions of fantasies. Dreams that one day       will somehow become your reality. Simple pictures in your mind       of how the world would one day be. The perfect view       the way that you believe things are. An ideal of where you will end up       maybe ten to twenty years from now. Traditionally you'll be married       to your one true love, mr. right. Together you'll have a couple kids       living happily ever after. Then one day you awake       woundering what to do with your life. Constantly chasing your fantasies       that once seemed so simply real...What do you think? Can you relate?
