weakened by tears

I look into your eyes, deception is what I see. I love you so much, that's why it's hurting me. I'm trying to explain, just how much I hurt. I yell til' my breathe runs out, anger flows in every word. I just can't seem to get through to you. I want you to hurt, feel the pain, too. "Why?" I ask you, do you do this to me. I can't stand it anymore, Please let me be. You've destroyed my happiness, You've destroyed my heart. I'll be doing better off, If we were to be apart. I turn away from you, I can't bear to see. What your eyes behold, feelings,instore for me. You beg me to stay, you plead on your knees. I have to be strong, so my mind can be at ease. Your voice is getting lower, I'm shocked at what appears. I look at you once more, To see you choking on your tears. I try to make you realize, that my whole life is at stake. But you continue to cry, I wonder if it's a mistake. I tell myself be strong, but a tear rolls down my cheak. The pain in your eyes, is making me very weak. I've failed to be strong, failed to let you go. I have to live with it. Because I love you so.
