I want all you poets out there,to know something.My career as a poet on this siteis over.I am sick of the ratings,I am sick of the jealousy.I am sick of the pretence,I am sick of the resentfulness.I feel it is cheap and nasty,to put a price (ratings)on the emotions people expressthrough their poems.They bare their soul, and you put a value on that.How does it make you feel,when you let out your deepest,darkest secrets, that mean so much,and someone gives you a 3 or a 2 out of 5.Doesn't seem to work does it?So I will keep on reading,I will keep on writing,but bugger it if I'll put it on this site,to be thrown to the wolves,roughly digested,and then spat out all over my face.
