Thoughtful Stupidity
By Tegs
They sit and stare, and dream and wish, about being a mindless wonder. They would give up their future to be useless. Turn from a safe full of gold to an empty silver bag. Thinking a billion thoughts of nothing. Willing to give it all up to be pathetic. No use but to the equally pathetic. They sit and they dream, about tarnishing their lustre. I am they, I am guilty of dreaming, I wish I did not shine so. Written February 13th, 2002 © on Feb 12 2002 07:16 PM PST 0 • 10
