White Page
By Tegs
You scrawl your words in pink and gold to try and add some life to your misery To try and find a way to glean some wisdom or see the truth that you have blinded yourself from. You scribble like mad trying to fill up the page to hide the white-hole, the emptiness that is nothing but a mirror of your mind. A sinkhole of nothing, nothing coming in, or going out. The blank page mocks you, it's truth confounds you no matter how many pretty swirls you try and cover it with some white will always show through, And remind you of your empty core. The words, numbers and random scribbles do nothing to hide the futility of your situation or the lack of substance in your thoughts because they are just as empty, as that long white page.
