a Walk with The Devil By Jeannie A Walk with the devil was all it took He began by opening my eyes like a book 'A little walk' he promised, then we softly trod He made snickers at all the creations of God He pointed outside my window and what did I see? He was showing a part of him at work to me 'Look at the man taking a piss on a flower' He then looked at me 'See? who has the most power?' Evil over Good always to be,still confusing to me He made a snicker and said 'Let us go and See' We softly trod together right outside my door Not a human he was, just a ghost and nothing more Just like a red flame anxious to see my reaction It was when we went outside I saw more of his faction We looked around I saw a man on his front yard doing dope He looked to me 'Even a Pope, has time to take a little smoke' He wrapped my arm around in mine,he seemed in such a good mood We started taking steps outside the yard, going down my Neighborhood a man was outside when he beated on his dog,the dog running away The devil pointed this out and looked at me 'Well, now what do you say?' I just sighed and nodded, saying nothing as we went on our way As I went down the road I saw a elderly man hitting on a young lady I was sickened and felt a bit worried as I thought this was crazy we continued down the road when a nice car and cop car went by I was thinking 'stolen?' The Devil grinned and nodded in reply we begin to walk where litter was sprawled on everywhere I watched him as he began picking it up and ripping it more we walked till I saw my church in sight, I was afraid a bit I saw them inside, singing and praising and my place where i sit I started to walk in. that was before I heard their rumors inside I heard all their mean thoughts, and frowned with a sad 'Oh My' He grabbed my foot dragging me down the street with a scream I didn't know what to think, was this real or was I in my dream? I was dragged to a new place I never seen before till now The hill was long and steep, the bottom seemed scary some how The ground was covered with mud or was it shades of human red blood I was standing there beside the creature, when he took off his hood I had fear in my heart and my eyes were wide open, filled with tears The devil was scary, and more scarier then I learned in my years I stepped back when he caused me to trip and slip on blood on the hill I was sliding down this hill gripping with all that i could till... Holding half way up and on my way down,I grabbed with all my might I looked up with tears seeing all the people from church in my sight They looked at me as I knew This was wrong, Then strength came my way I frowned, started climbing the devil snarled in his own evil display then I saw it right beside me was a book about the size of my chest I was slipping lower but still within reaching for it,trying my best I grabbed it with a hand still slipping till I was all the way down blood covered my body but in my chest what do you think was found? That little black book, known as the bible, in my chest and in my heart The blood left, my sins I was confessing and for Jesus I'll never partThis was A Dream I had, I know its scary hearing; Imagine Witnessing it. The thing is I didn't wake up till the last part ended, the whole time I tried to wake up and couldn't.and from the Heart of my friend Darien who says 'don't be discouraged by the world around you for god is with you as long as you hold on to him.'
